The Egg Beavertail Burnisher is a specialized double-ended dental instrument used for the final contouring, smoothing, and polishing of dental amalgam and composite restorations. One end features a rounded, egg-shaped head for broad smoothing and shaping, while the other end has a flat, beavertail-shaped head ideal for creating smooth marginal ridges and adapting the filling material to the cavity walls. This dual design allows dentists to efficiently produce polished, anatomically correct, and plaque-resistant surfaces on direct fillings.

Key Features:

  • Double-ended design with an egg-shaped tip for contouring and a beavertail tip for marginal adaptation.

  • Used to smooth, polish, and shape newly placed amalgam or composite restorations.

  • Creates a seamless transition between the filling material and the natural tooth structure.

  • Improves the marginal seal and surface finish, enhancing restoration longevity and hygiene.

  • Forged from durable stainless steel for long-term reliability in a clinical setting.

  • An essential finishing instrument in any restorative dental procedure kit.
